Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to every game and app published by Happy Fun Games ("we", "us", "our"), including Empire, Tap Duel and ComBETitive (together, the "Games"), and to this website. By downloading, installing or using a Game you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Games.
1. Who can use the Games
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Games. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf. ComBETitive is only available to users aged 18 and over.
2. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the Games on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial entertainment, in line with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by us.
3. Accounts
Some features, such as online play, friends and leaderboards, may need an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. Usernames must not be offensive, impersonate anyone, or infringe anyone's rights. We may rename or remove accounts that break these Terms.
4. Fair play and conduct
You agree not to:
- cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts or modified clients to gain an advantage;
- harass, abuse or threaten other players, or share hateful, sexual or illegal content in names or lobbies;
- reverse engineer, decompile, copy, resell or redistribute any part of the Games;
- interfere with our servers or other players' enjoyment of the Games.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these rules.
5. Virtual coins and items
Some Games use virtual coins, points or items ("Virtual Items"). Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, money or prizes, and cannot be transferred or sold outside the Game. You have a limited licence to use them within the Game only. We may change, rebalance or remove Virtual Items at any time.
ComBETitive is a free-to-play entertainment game. It does not offer real-money gambling and there is no opportunity to win money or anything of real value. Success in the game does not imply future success at real-money gambling. If gambling is causing you problems, visit BeGambleAware.org.
6. Purchases
Any in-app purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account and are subject to Apple's terms. Except where the law requires, all purchases are final. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
7. Advertising
The Games may show advertisements, including ads delivered by third parties such as Google AdMob. Some Games may let you watch an optional ad in exchange for Virtual Items. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites they link to.
8. Third-party services
The Games rely on third-party services, for example Google Firebase for online lobbies and accounts. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms.
9. Intellectual property
The Games, including their code, artwork, names, logos, characters and sounds, are owned by Happy Fun Games or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.
10. Changes and availability
We may update, change or discontinue any Game or feature at any time, and online features may be unavailable during maintenance or outages. We may update these Terms; if the changes are significant we will let you know in the Game or on this page. Continuing to use the Games after changes means you accept the new Terms.
11. Disclaimer
The Games are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that the Games will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, Virtual Items or progress, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you are a consumer in the UK, you also have legal rights that these Terms do not affect.
13. Apple
These Terms are between you and Happy Fun Games, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Games or their content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the Games. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, so if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Happy Fun Games collects when you use our Games and this website, and how we use it. We are the data controller under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect
- Account details you give us, such as a username and email address, if a Game offers accounts.
- Gameplay data such as scores, match results, friends lists, lobby codes and in-game coin balances.
- Device and usage data such as device model, operating system, app version, crash reports and, where you allow it, an advertising identifier.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts or photos.
How we use it
- to run online play, accounts, friends and leaderboards;
- to fix bugs and improve the Games;
- to show advertising, which helps keep the Games free;
- to enforce our Terms and keep play fair.
Our legal bases are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving the Games, and your consent where it is required (for example personalised ads).
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who process data for us: Google Firebase (hosting, databases, accounts) and Google AdMob (advertising). On iPhone, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking for personalised ads. If you decline, you may still see non-personalised ads. We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep account and gameplay data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of a deletion request, unless we must keep it longer by law.
Children
Our Games are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. You can request account deletion inside any Game that has accounts, or by emailing us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
